Where to find the 10 hottest pool parties in Vegas

Taking a dip while drinking is easy in Las Vegas because pool party season has officially arrived! Last weekend, several of the city’s most popular pool clubs opened for some sizzling sun and fun, with more to make a splash on the horizon. So break out your bikini or bathing trunks and get ready for lots of sipping, swimming, dancing and socializing. Here’s a roundup of the most raucous pool parties in town.

Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage
This is the place to see and be seen. Beside the sparkling waters of two elegant dipping pools, you’ll find a crowd of what looks like supermodels wearing, as the name implies, very little. This is actually one of several pool clubs in Vegas where women can enjoyEuropean-style” sunbathing, which means tops are not required. Sleek décor, towering palms and DJ-spun music add to the atmosphere for no-holds-barred frolickers.
Hours: Thursday – Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Not to miss: The drinks are truly divine, ranging from spicy bloody Marys to a slew of flavored mojitos.

Now in its fourth season, Liquid is smaller in scale than some of Las Vegas’ other pool clubs, but there’s still a decadent mix of shimmering waters, drinks and food here. The 1,200-square-foot pool is encircled by 85 chaise lounges, 35 daybeds and eight grand cabanas. The bar pours everything from specialty cocktails to craft beers while the 50-seat grill serves up a menu created by Brian Massie, executive chef of The Light Group.
Hours: Thursday – Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Not to miss: There’s nothing quite like Liquid’s “champagne fire drill.”

Billed as a “Toptional” pool, this adult-oriented party is sure to please both men and women. Moorea Beach Club has a secluded spot in the sprawling 11-acre Mandalay Beach complex. Its classy layout is comprised of a sandy outer perimeter, two elegantly curved dipping pools and a bubbly hot tub. Among the various seating options, you can opt to while the afternoon away on an opium bed or in a sand cabana.
Hours: Daily from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Not to miss: For optimum rays and daytime lounging, it’s hard to beat Moorea’s “living room,” a sophisticated sitting area.

Palms Pool at the Palms
Three words: Prepare to party. This two-acre outdoor playground is where you and 2,999 other people can let loose in style. There are two large pools and a small elevated, glass-bottomed pool along with three bars (including one that’s hidden behind a waterfall). Palms Pool offers DJ-spun music on most afternoons and also hosts numerous concerts and special events, like the Rock ’N’ Brew beer and music festival scheduled on April 5.

Daily from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Not to miss:
Already known for its famous Ditch Fridays party, this year will see the addition of Ditch Saturdays. Together, the parties will be dubbed “Ditch Weekends.” The first one kicks off on May 3.

TAO Beach at The Venetian

This high-energy pool party was launched in 2007. Situated on the resort’s fourth floor, you’ll get to take in magnificent views of the Strip (especially at sunset). Spanning more than 18,000 square feet, TAO Beach boasts 14-foot fire columns, Buddha statues and a huge bar that concocts amazing TAO-tinis and TAO-jitos. It’s the perfect formula for a sexy summer escapade unlike any other.
Hours: Daily from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Not to miss: For a cool and sweet treat, try the red mango frozen yogurt.

Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand
Rest poolside or dive into merriment at this alluring 53,000-square-foot complex that houses eight stunning pools (including two saltwater ones). As part of “The Grand Renovation” currently sweeping the MGM Grand, Wet Republic just completed a makeover. An expanded DJ booth with LED display capabilities is one of the many enhancements. This is sure to please the stellar lineup of electronic music DJs – Tommy Trash, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, deadmau5, Steve Aoki and more – who are slated to appear this season. There’s lovely new sculptured horticulture and furniture as well.

Thursday – Monday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Not to miss:
For a retreat from the sun, grab a seat in the 2,500-square-foot open-air ultra lounge, where you can imbibe signature cocktails like the Wet Splash, Pomegranate Cooler and Wet Tea Shirt.

Rehab at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
These Sunday-afternoon parties filled with spring break-like debauchery are returning to the swanky hotel. Considered the first true daylife experience in Las Vegas, this year marks Rehab’s 10th anniversary. The tropical scenery consists of sandy beaches and Tahitian-style cabanas. Resident DJs Richard Beynon, Robbie Rivera and others will be on hand to provide the soundtrack. Expect the fruity Tropical Punch and sweet-tasting Strawberry Shortcake to be two of the season’s most desired cocktails.

Sunday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Not to miss:
As part of the over-the-top atmosphere, the swim-up blackjack tables are a hoot!

Venus Pool Club at Caesars Palace
Located within the Garden of the Gods pool oasis, this European-style retreat has a serene neoclassical setting. There’s a stately terrace and deck area with grand statues (including gargoyles) and lush foliage as well as an Olympic-sized pool. Amid lounge chairs, four couches, 14 daybeds and 11 cabanas, you’ll be pampered by beautiful “goddesses” with things like Evian face spritzers and frozen towels. Among the themed cocktails are the Bubble Bath Mojito and the Julio Caesar Margarita.
Debuts:
April 22.
Hours: Daily from 11 a.m. to dusk.
Not to miss: Take advantage of special spa services – ranging from relaxing massages to having suntan lotion applied for you – provided in coordination with Qua Baths & Spa.

Sapphire Pool & Day Club
Sapphire Las Vegas, the world’s largest gentlemen’s club, will debut a brand new pool scene this summer. Located just west of the Strip at 3025 S. Industrial Rd., it cost $8 million to construct the rectangular-shaped pool surrounded by daybeds, lounge chairs and 11 luxury cabanas.  Look forward to seeing lots of beautiful women sunbathing and reveling here. Big-name DJs (such as Crooked, Sidvicious, DJ Homicide, Sean Perry and Fashen) and “The Sapphire Entertainers” will come out on the weekends.
Debuts: May 2.
Hours: Thursday – Sunday from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Not to miss: A restaurant called the Sapphire Grill will dish up the culinary creations of celebrity chef Kerry Simon.

Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay

Another all-new mega pool club will complement the sun’s bright beams this season. The Light Group is launching a 50,000-square-foot complex that will accommodate up to 5,000 people. Inspired by the scene in Ibiza, the goal at Daylight Beach Club is to raise the bar on daytime partying with even finer cuisine, more creative cocktails (imagine The Clooney, The Baja and Daylight White Sangria) and the most luxurious furnishings. The scene will also showcase a rotating cast of A-list DJs including Skrillex, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Baauer and more on a 1,500-square-foot stage that boasts a magnificent sound system.
Debuts: May 26.
Hours: TBA.
Not to miss: There are two bungalows that are truly for the rich and famous because they will be kitted out not only with their own restrooms, but also with their own pools.
