Las Vegas’ dayclubs and nightclubs turn up the heat for Memorial Day weekend

Get ready…Memorial Day weekend is right around the corner. Wondering what the hot tickets are in Las Vegas? The city’s dayclubs and nightclubs have booked the best DJs in the world to perform. Join thousands of visitors for epic pool parties and late evenings filled with dancing and debauchery. Here’s a list of where to go if you want to be in the heart of all the action.

Dayclubs

Opening on Memorial Day weekend, Drai’s Beach Club is set to take dayclubs in Las Vegas to a new level. Situated 11 stories high on the rooftop of The Cromwell, the views of the Strip will be magnificent from up here. Drai’s Beach Club has 10 towering 35-foot palm trees, two full bars, two main pools and an assortment of lounge chairs, daybeds, bungalows and cabanas (some of which have their own private pools). The lineup of DJs is equally impressive. Hear 12th Planet on May 23, Arty on May 24, Showtek on May 25 and Quintino & Ummet Ozcan on May 26.

Having just opened in March, Picnic at Downtown Grand is also new on the pool scene this Memorial Day weekend. Boasting a rooftop experience in a park-like setting complete with picnic tables and a simple rectangular dipping pool, you’ll enjoy whiling away the afternoons in this ’50s-style oasis. At night, you can come back and have more fun under the stars. On May 23, Picnic will launch Flashback Fridays, featuring Cyndi Lauper and Blondie cover bands. On May 24, there will be a performance by Holes & Hearts.

Bare Pool Lounge, a sophisticated dayclub at The Mirage, will turn up the volume  this weekend with appearances by DJ SINcere on May 23 and DJ Bamboozle with the NYC takeover DJs on May 24. Bottagra Brunch, the first West Coast version of NYC’s popular party brunch, will be held on May 25. Big Apple resident DJs PS1 and DJ Rick Wonder will mix things up alongside resident DJ David Christian.

Daylight Beach Club, the massive pool club at Mandalay Bay (it can accommodate up to 5,000 partiers), is packing its 1,500-square-foot stage with top-name talent. Come see GTA on May 23, Alesso on May 24 and Kendrick Lamar with DJ Orator on May 25.

Get an early start celebrating Memorial Day weekend on May 22, when the Encore Beach Club at Night series will showcase Zedd. The party continues in the afternoons at Encore Beach Club with Diplo on May 23, Steve Angello on May 24, David Guetta on May 25 and Avicii on May 26.

A great time can always be found in Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria. It will kick off Memorial Day weekend with DJ Risk One on May 22, followed up with appearances by Nicki Minaj on May 24 and Clockwork on May 25.

Some of the best DJs on the EDM circuit will be spinning for fans in Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan. On May 24, check out Cedric Gervais. Carrying on his Summer Lovin’ residency at the resort, Kaskade will enthrall afternoon carousers with his funky beats on May 24. Porter Robinson will take the reins on May 25, while Cash Cash will appear on May 26 to wrap up the weekend.

A three-day social spectacular has been planned at Palms Pool & Dayclub. On May 23, play hooky at Ditch Friday, which will feature the Red Bull Air Race Event with sounds by Exodus, Mark Stylz and guest Red Bull DJs. Stylz will return with Exodus on May 24 and with Seany Mac on May 25.

Celebrating its 11th anniversary this season, Rehab’s Memorial Day weekend parties at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino are sure to be legendary. The revelry begins with Taboo at Rehab Summer Camp on May 23. J. Cole and Puff Daddy will take the stage during Rehab on May 24 and 25, respectively, for special performances.

Wet Republic at MGM Grand

Memorial Day weekend will be a rocking one at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic. Take a look at this list of EDM superstars who will be manning the turntables: Steve Aoki with Nervo on May 23, Tiësto on May 24, Afrojack with Apster on May 25 and Calvin Harris with R3hab on May 26.

Delight in the Asian-inspired allure of Tao Beach while listening to tunes supplied by three of Vegas’ most beloved DJs: Jerzy on May 23, Eric D-Lux on May 24 and Ace on May 25.

Temptation Sunday, the popular LGBT pool party at Luxor, is throwing a huge Memorial Day weekend bash on May 25. Hosted by J.Son of Naked Boy News, it will also feature DJ Casey Alva pumping out high-energy music.

Nightclubs

Like Drai’s Beach Club, Drai’s Nightclub is also debuting at The Cromwell on Memorial Day weekend. As part of the same facility, it encompasses the outdoor pool deck and facilities along with a chic indoor setting that includes a giant gold disco ball, a spacious stage and a dance floor. Among the chart-topping collection of DJs signed on to appear are DJ Irie, who will lead the grand opening festivities on May 22. The partying will continue with Eric Prydz on May 23, Sidney Samson on May 24 and DVBBS on May 26.

Memorial Day weekend will also be your chance for a last hurrah at Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace. Opened in 2004, it’s closing on May 26 to undergo a full remodel that is not expected to be completed until early next year.

1 Oak at The Mirage has a jam-packed holiday weekend planned for club goers with appearances by Nicki Minaj on May 23, the rapper Nas on May 24 and Nick Cannon on May 25.

Soak in the festive atmosphere at The Bank in Bellagio. Some of Las Vegas’ hottest models will be participating in Model Mayhem on May 23. DJ E-Man from Power 106 FM in Southern California is having his birthday celebration on May 24 with Iggy Azalea, Mike Posner and Far East Movement. Plus, Pusha T will perform live on May 25.

Spend a sizzling evening at Town Square Las Vegas, where Blue Martini is holding a Memorial Day celebration on May 26 with Neo Soul Nights. Guests who are dressed all in white can partake of a limited open bar from 10 p.m. – midnight.

For a night of rollicking music, go to Body English inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on May 23, when Rock Candy will be on hand with DJ Koko.

Memorial Day weekend will be a rockin’ one at Chateau Nightclub in Paris Las Vegas. NFL star LeSean McCoy will help kick off a wild party on the rooftop with DJ D-Money on May 23. Big Boi, part of the duo OutKast, and hip-hop record producer DJ Drama will take over the deck on May 24. DJ Clue will provide a memorable mix of music on May 25.

Get into the party spirit at swanky Ghostbar, which sits on the 55th floor of the Palms. DJ-spun music will be provided by MICS with Exodus on May 23, Mark Stylz with Seany Mac on May 24 and bRadical on May 25.

Looking for a good ol’ country-style time? Drop by Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall and Bar-B-Q at Treasure Island on May 23 – 25 for live music by Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band.

Haze Nightclub at Aria is among the coolest places to spend Memorial Day weekend because you’ll be able to whoop it up with Kendrick Lamar on May 24 and Big Sean on May 25.

The fun gets into full gear at Hyde Bellagio, where you can hear DJ Five on May 23, DJ Scooter on May 24 and DJ Konflikt on May 25.

Tiësto at Hakkasan Las Vegas

Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand will be a big draw for club goers thanks to its awesome roster of talent: Afrojack with Apster (main room) and Crooked (Ling Ling Club) on May 22; Hardwell with DJ Fergie (main room) and MOS (Ling Ling Club) on May 23; Tiësto with Danny Avila (main room) and Ruckus (Ling Ling Club) on May 24; Calvin Harris with Michael Woods (main room) and Jesse Marco (Ling Ling Club) on May 25; and Martin Garrix (main room) on May 26.

Lavo, the sleek and stylish Italian restaurant and lounge at The Palazzo, is where you can delight in “After IX,” a Champagne affair of fashion and music by DJ 88. The event is sponsored by Veuve Clicquot.

Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay is proud to present a list of DJs sure to excite crowds: Krewella on May 23, Alesso on May 24 and Sultan + Ned Shepard followed by Carl Cox (in a 3 a.m. after-hours show) on May 25.

Taking music and visual effects to the highest levels, Marquee Nightclub is featuring Benny Benassi on May 23, Kaskade’s Summer Lovin’ production on May 24, Dash Berlin with a late-night set by Jamie Jones on May 25 and Carnage on May 26.

At The Cosmopolitan, Rose.Rabbit.Lie.’s late-night experience will be transformed from May 23 – 25. Beginning at 11 p.m. nightly, the eccentrically cool venue is featuring a Mansion Party. In addition to the 30-minute presentation of “Vegas Nocturne” at midnight, you’ll discover entertainment in every room. Guests can also enjoy extravagantly presented bottle service from the cast members of “Vegas Nocturne,” listen to beats supplied by resident DJ Wiki and feast on a special menu.

A stellar lineup of electronic music talent has been tapped to lead an unforgettable Memorial Day weekend in Surrender at Encore. The carousing starts on May 21 with DJ Snake. Also come see Ryan Lewis and special guest Morgan Page on May 23, Major Lazer on May 24 and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on May 25.

In Tao Nightclub at The Venetian, you can dance the night away to tunes spun by DJ Politik on May 23. Vice Saturdays is slated for May 24, followed by The Snoopadelic Cabaret hosted by Snoop Dogg with DJ Five on May 25.

The sexy and sophisticated Tryst nightclub, known for showcasing some of the top electronic music talent, has got DJ sets by Jermaine Dupri on May 22, Alie Layus on May 23 and Lil Jon on May 24.

Head over to Vanity in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to check out Kevin Hart and Adrian Peterson on May 23 and J. Cole on May 24.

The world’s hottest DJs can always be found at XS in Encore. Providing the ultimate in entertainment for Memorial Day weekend are Skrillex on May 22, Steve Angello on May 23, David Guetta on May 24, Avicii on May 25 and Zedd on May 26.
